The structure of the Mej butcher block, in addition to a careful selection of the material used, is characterized by a special patented technology for tightening the elements that compose it. The core of the Mej is the interaction of steel rods and wooden dowels, which working together create a synergetic action. The steel forces the elements together, while the dowels, using non-toxic vinyl glue, control the natural expansion of the wood.
